We are a family owned and run practice and employ only staff who share our love of people and helping them.
We have been touted as 'the little office that could'. My father, Dr. Norman Sadowsky, opened up this practice in 1958 when he was just 22 years old. He hung up a shingle and prayed for patients. As fate and luck would have it, his first patient ended up becoming his father-in-law!
I returned back to the States after spending 8 years in Australia where I attended med school and started my family. My father had run the practice for 56 years and never really wanted to retire as he loved it so. But my mother was anxious to start their travelling part of retirement, so having me take over the reigns was key. I grew up in this office, so my history here lies completely. I have patients who knew me before I was even born! The history makes our practice different and special. People are not merely patients, but we are together to make the entire experience professional yet warm and familial.

Comprehensive Vision and Eye Health Examinations
Regular eye exams are an invaluable tool in maintaining healthy eyes by detecting and preventing disease. Some diseases develop slowly without causing pain or vision loss. Early detection of any problems can reduce the risk of further harm and allow for a choice of treatment options. The entire exam process can take an hour depending on the complexity of the problem. Each patient will be evaluated with a refraction, slit lamp, intraocular pressure and a retinal exam.
Pediatric Eye Care
We take pride in maintaining the vision of our younger patients in an environment that is lighthearted and fun. We want to insure the good sight, vision, and eye health for the rest of your child's life and take a preventative approach to his/her general health and eye health. We will work with your child's primary care physician to help keep his/her eyes healthy. It is important that all of our pediatric patients have healthy and efficient visual systems to help make visual demands of learning in school easier and fun.
Contact Lens Exams and Fittings
Thanks to the advances in optical technology, almost everyone is a candidate for contact lens use. This includes patients with astigmatism and also those who prefer bifocal or multifocal lenses. At our office, we offer a comprehensive array of contact lenses to suit each individual patient's needs. We offer daily disposables, extended wear soft lenses to gas permeable contact lenses. We offer regular and custom lens services for both healthy and difficult to fit patients.
Dry Eye Treatment
People who have tried eye drops and gels without relief often turn to punctal occluders. Symptoms such as teary eyes or irritated, painful eyes can all be helped. There is a simple procedure known as punctual occlusion that is fast, pain free and covered by most insurance companies. This quick and easy procedure is done in our office in as little as 5 minutes. This e a common solution for people with dry eye syndrome and keratoconjunctivitis sicca. It works to keep moisture in the eyes. They are temporary occluders that dissolve within 3 months.
Lasik Evaluations and Post Ops
We are affiliated with TLC laser eye center and do lasik evaluations. By being affiliated with TLC we also take care of your pre/post ops for a year. We can schedule you a free consultation appointment with TLC to confirm your candidacy and to find out about pricing and payment plans.
